Efficient working practices
When a Birmingham Automotive Component manufacturer wanted to alter the flooring in the factory due to business growth, they were worried about the potential time taken to put in place the resin screed flooring needed. But with PSC Flooring’ flexible attitude and efficient working practices they were able to fit the project into the factory’s pre-existing shutdown dates. This meant that the business was not affected at all by the development of the site and the work caused no loss of production.
The new flooring was applied after the all-important floor preparation. We used a diamond grinding machine to ensure that the very dirty and flaky floor was turned into a clean, flat area that would take the application of the resin layers very neatly. We applied two coats of primer, followed by 3mm epoxy resin SL screed all in the mid grey that the client had specified.

We can supply flooring in a variety of colours, and indeed can use different colours on the same floor to mark out separate areas if required. With this client we completed the flooring with all the expansion joints being recut before we filled them with matching jointing compound.
