Leading industrial flooring contractors PSC Flooring Ltd have just completed 1100 sq mtrs of epoxy resin floor coatings in a very busy warehouse for a component distribution company in Cradley Heath, West Midlands.
Improve Health and Safety
The client was looking to improve the Health and Safety in the warehouse, with a dedicated trucking gangway and pedestrian walkways, in different colours, that would be high gloss, hard wearing an easy to clean resin floor.
PSC Flooring Ltd suggested two coats of Resdev Pumatect high build epoxy resin coating system in mid grey to packing and racking areas, with red to trucking gangways and Chelsea Blue to the pedestrian walkway, with zebra crossings.
The old floor was firstly shotblasted to remove old floor paint and contaminants to clean and prepare the concrete. Once fully vacuumed clean two coats of high build epoxy was laid.
Efficient Service
The total project took 4 days to complete, was started on a Friday and completed on a Monday to minimise the clients disruption. The project was on time and on budget and provided the client with a colour coded floor system that was hard wearing, easy to clean and transformed the warehouse.
